amyknutkowski 0 Posted May 4, 2009 My goal was to take a nice portrait of my children for their grandmothers for Mother's Day. I learned that trying to photograph more than one child at a time is not as easy as it might seem. Simply trying to get them to look at the camera at the same time was a huge challenge and getting a natural smile on demand was nearly impossible. I captured this shot after I told them we were done. They started wrestling around on the grass and I was able to get their attention for about 5 more shots. Thanks for looking! :-) Link to comment

denise_savage 0 Posted May 4, 2009 kids are difficult to get. I try to talk to mine as I sit behind the camera and get them to tell me a story about something. It keeps them from pulling faces and they look at me while they talk then. Sometimes they even have a smile on their faces. Then the finger stays on the shutter release. Somewhere in all that you end up with something usable. You've done well to get this one. In focus (not always easy with targets that are constantly moving), nice colours and tones, and great faces. Exposure and composition all just right. Link to comment
