Angel Trumpet Flower II

Another in the Angel Trumpet series.

Soft and lovely.

Beautifully soft. I just finished critiquing another soft flower saying all macros don't need to be sharp and here you prove the point. Well done.

Leo, this is a very nicely constructed image, to me has more of a star trek feeling than floral, also had a look at your fanning out image, your compositions always seem to be well thought out and executed.

Veru beautiful color, and there IS sharpness where it's needed.

Extraordinary lighting - it truly appears luminescent. Lovely, gentle hues and lines - wonderful dof. the pistil is magical - I expect it to start moving and extend beyond the flower. Great piece of work!

Thank you very much for your comments. I blended a soft copy with a sharp one to try and have the best of two worlds. It seems to me that these types of flower images have greater impact with a soft glow.I did however sharpen the pestle.

Thank you for your kind comments. I shot from underneath the flower with a overcast early morning sky shining through the pedals which produced a wonderful glow.
