Great Photo of the Grebe. All your photos are fantastic. Your "testing the water" photo is also incredible. I love taking wildlife and outdoor photos and your work is very inspiring to me to see what is possible. Great photo and portfolio. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Any feedback you could ever provide me would be very welcome if you view my portfolio some time. I did not know there was more than the common Grebe which does not have much color.

A really nice portrait of this bird (and much better than my recent efforts--he just wouldn't come close enough!!). Beautiful.

I'm a big fan of getting low and shoot at eye level. Great shot, the low angle, the defused bg and fg add more intimacy to the subject, great lighting too. 7/7
