JulianBurke 0 Posted April 13, 2009 Got this little fellow just outside the front door. He was quite happy to pose and did not run off like some of my female models :-) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 14, 2009 He's cute! He sure doesn't look like a gecko, though. Link to comment
JulianBurke 0 Posted April 14, 2009 But he sure is. We have a lot of them on our windows at night because the light attracts the insects they eat. Sitting in my study at night is like watching a hunting adventure - on a small scale. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 15, 2009 I would LOVE having that many lizards around. We have them in cages inside our house to enjoy them. What kind is this? Link to comment
JulianBurke 0 Posted April 15, 2009 I don't know the Latin name for these geckos. The best I can do is tell you that they are almost transparent underneath so that you can see their insides when they sit on the glass of the window pane. You can even see when the females are pregnant because you can see the eggs inside them. I heard from someone they are not indigenous to Australia but that they used to be pets and escaped and bread and spread over many years. We have quite a few animals that spread like that.
