I think that your pictures almost always have stunning colors with rich contrast... This time it´s I think you have done one that is totally gorgeous in the color.. So I dont have much more to say than ..... Excellent work, Gail....

I don't know.....rich passionate colors are ones I always tend to sway to...I love to cook....the colors of Yellow, Orange, Red Peppers, etc. ....these colors in nature I think were special 'gifts' for our 'senses' from an extremely 'good' ARTIST and POET....I'll probably keep on veering towards these hues as long as the "ARTIST" keeps painting....and until the "POET"....feels HE has said there is everything that needs to be said....."then quietly gathers me up into HIS arms"......and starts again........

Very beautiful and colorful abstract of a flower. Much of the perspective is left to the imagination which is a big plus!!

What can I say BC.....if you look very closely the top right petal almost looks like a snake.....and if you get real close.....if the stamens don't 'CRUSH' you in their Menacing Grasp!(EEE-Gads I'm feeling faint!!)....the 'Snake' will devour you whole for 'Breakkky!!!!!.....watch where you ROAM my friend...this Jungle is not for the 'Faint of Heart".....then I utter a real sinister "HA HA HA HA HA.........!!!!!!" Scared Yet??!! Tnks for commenting....don't go out in the Woods today!!!........Gail

Just posting since August 2008!!!. Something tells me you have been working on your techniques a little before that Gail. This is excellent post treatment and for me a good example of where your frame works, I think it enhances the whole effect of the image here.

I like the way that the green curves are off to one side and the corners are not all uniform, it adds a good dynamic to the image.

Very nicely done.

Thankyou very much for your very kind comment, but truly that is how long I have been posting and the most creative work I have done has been since then...I did a few (maybe 3) before I signed up...but I just had a few years worth of Photos and dove in and saw what I could come up with. However, I have been studying and trying to learn Photoshop since I got my computer and Fuji 5000 in 2004...I just have kind of 'winged' it......??? I just experiment--and with learning a bit about layers, have managed to come up with a few things.....?? honestly...that's my 'story' ....don't necessarily have to 'stick to it'......cos it's the truth....Maybe Someone upstairs has blessed me with a bit of creativity....and it is helping me along....tnks very much for your kind comments...most appreciated......Gail
