I realise this series came out somewhat murky -- guess I underexposed

it (?!) -- so please ignore for now skin tones and the lack of 'pop'.

OK, I will not comment on anything but the pose.

Every picture tells a story. What is the story here? Immediately I notice that the perspective is highly forced with her head looking huge compared to her feet. Why? What story is being portrayed? The only apparent possibility is that I, the viewer, am physically very close to her. Why? Am I supposed to be her lover, an intruder, a burglar? No clues.

A photo is wonderful if it tells a story clearly with all elements supporting the main theme. I can't decide what the theme is here. A nude female is lying on her back, with her feet on the wall - why? She seems to be ignoring the viewer so I don't know if I am intruding upon her situation or welcome. Is this to be an embarassing situation or a calm one?

It doesn't seem to be glamour, pinup, pornography, fine art or anything I can classify. It just does nothing.

It is hard enough to take pictures of dogs, cats, children, & people on the street, but a nude alone in a room, apparently on a bed, needs to be carefully planned out and executed well to give the story you wish to tell. Have you identified that story?

I have to admit there never was any story I wanted to tell with this picture. Actually, the same is true for all of my nudes: purely a celebration of the aesthetics of a female body. If anything, I may strive to convey certain mood.

Regarding aesthetics: (1) whilst I'd rather have used a longer focal length, due to space constraints, I had to resort to a wide angle lens, hence the distortion you have noticed; (2) I've tweaked the highlights a bit -- hope it's better now.
