The difference between the two images -- this and the previous one --

boils down to marginally different perspective: I pretty much levelled

myself / the camera with the model's belly to take this picture while the

one before it has been taken from a slightly higher vantage point;

everything else remained exactly the same (!)

 

Was wondering if you may have any preferences: is one working for you

better than the other? ...and why? -- your insight is much appreciated!

Kind of image I like. Painting with light to show shapes and volume. Very good work IMO.

I personally like this one much better than the one proceeding it. The angle made all the difference... especially in light of the shallow depth-of-field. This on should go on the wall!

I actually was thinking about making some prints and putting them on the wall, Michael, and the more I look at these two, the more I tend to agree with you (at first I was undecided), so yeah, this one it is then! :D

I'm also considering submitting it for the New Zealand Affordable Arts Show; there's a limit of three pieces, so need to pick two more...
