Your photo shows very well the soul of that place. It seems that there are stained-glass windows (or glass with some color...)!... I'm wrong? Light / shadows play and color are beautiful. Fine detail level. And I like very much the antique mood. Very good!

Best regards.

Salvador, Marco, El, José, thank you so much for your comments, thank you for your time! I am glad that you like the image. José, I am not sure that I remember what type of glass there was but assume that the regular window glass. Maybe there was no glass at all. But it is a good question, I have to check it next time:). (This place is just 25 km away from my home). Regards.

The color palette form and texture, expressed by the soft light ,create a mood of time passed, as seen in some of your other photos. A very nice series,

Like the cathedral pictures of Dennis Aubrey, your mastery of light borders on the miraculous. I am constantly amazed at the beauty and precision of your work. This quiet procession arches is wonderful and deserves a place in my favorites.

Excellent feel to this work, with the faded yellow stonework adding to the atmosphere of the whole scene....Regards

If the monastery has a gift shop, this, and all those like it, would be irresistible souvenirs. Just beautiful!

Gunnar, Great composition with the revelation of texture through superb lighting. Is the light all ambient of was there a strobe/reflector used?

Thank you for your constructive comments on "Opera house glow". Regards and have a good day. Bob

Bob, there is a natural day light coming from the open doorway from the left only, and light from the windows assist from background. Thats it. Thank you for stopping by!
