well, this is one of those photos that require a healthy dose of veggie juice to process properly. Amazing so many different shapes and basically all of them have sharp corners. Did you wear gloves when taking the photo? I like the B&W treatment, as well. Cheers, Micheal

This is really cool but the small amount of lens distorsion is driving me a little kooky. Any way you would monkey with the slider to pull out the pincushion in PS?

Also, where was this?

Cheers,

Jay

Thank you all so much for taking the time to leave a comment. Micheal, you just kill me. "Wear gloves?" lol

Jay, you know the world is not all straight lines. Okay, the building probably is all straight lines, so now you want to go back to reality? This is inside the Des Moines Art Center. And, yes, I think I could straighten out the lines in PS if I had to. And, I suppose I should.

Cool shot full of interesting details that keep the eyes wandering. I like the presence of the person on the left side breaking the "methodical" geometry.

Photographicaly speaking you should correct the perspective... otherwise it is an interesting point of camera and angle, with a lot of nice different textures and corners. The human figure is a nice bonus for the cpmposition.

You would surely not be surprised that I tell you I enjoy this image David...the geometry, the light with the different light directions...the toning makes it cold and mysterious...really nice...
