Antarctica S12

When I walked onto this scene it almost looked as if there was a gathering

of our feathered friends to see what this huge metal thing is doing on their

Domain. They are so innocent that they are not even scared of us since

they have not had any physical threat from mankind yet. Only their

enviroment is threatened but they do not realise that it is mankind.Thank

you so much for taking your time to view us in Larger Format. C&C always

appreciated

Hi Johanna. very nice shoot, fantastic background, but I would have a penguins sharp rather, then the ship. Aperture f/16 would kept it sharp all over, or close to it.

I have no idea, why people misleading you, saying, "awesome dof..?!, . . . when the dof is missing here.

I have admired your shots in Africa (all of your images, actually) for years now but this one startled me.  I immediately recognized the Discovery since I had taken the what was probably the same itinerary in Dec 2007.  What an amazing experience !!  I was just beginning to take up photography at the time so my results were not as good as I would have liked.  Love to go back and give it another shot.  In any case I'm very happy that you had a chance to go and your photographs are excellent.
