giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted February 25, 2009 this is a good series, upside down or not :-)))) Ciao, Giuseppe Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted February 25, 2009 I love this image! You keep finding new ways of showing nudes in unusual ways. This photograph is lit well and composed well. Showing it upside-down just makes a well done photograph even better. I wonder how it would look in B&W? Link to comment
prguarrera 0 Posted February 26, 2009 I love your fearless approach to finding new compositions with the nude. I am enjoying your work. -Phil Link to comment
lennart goldmann - geneva 0 Posted February 26, 2009 Dear Jim, since you often comment my photos and I have commented yours quite often, I must admit that your experiments with distortion simply don't appeal to me. That is not a negative critique, in fact I am impressed by your endeavour to experiment, and the results are fascinating in their own way, but there is simply nothing I can contribute. Just wanted to let you know! Best regards Lennart Link to comment
Elstad 9 Posted February 27, 2009 And I on the other hand am quite facinated by them... This is a Great Image! Fabulous pose and use of the wide lens... Marvelous Indeed... soooooooooooo, experiment away... I find that the further I wander from the classic nude the smaller my audience gets... While I do indeed like a positive response in the viewer my ultimate goal is to please myself in my artistic endevors... critics be damned... but as has been said before, it is a good thing if you are able to pay as little attention to those who love your work as you do to those who hate it... -r- Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted February 28, 2009 I have not abandoned the classic nude, my glamour and fine art images of Rebecca are at: http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=894886 I like both the classic and the more abstract/distorted look. Both have there place. Jim Phelps Link to comment
