What a wonderful, graphic image; it feels like something out of a 1930's Life Magazine. The holy card is a completely unexpected but brilliant addition to the picture.

Creative photography both in terms of composition and the topic, what seems to strike here at first sight is the contrast between riches and poverty but for me this photo works mainly as a story of hope. Simply superb, thank you Giuseppe, with my best regards -wm

and for your comments and rates. This shot was taken in Piazza Navona, Roma. This woman was slowly walking and I had decided not to get any photo of her (because the world is already full of beggar's pictures) when I suddenly spotted the holy picture in her hand. Matter of moments, I kneeled and shot twice, framing very tight. This was the result. After the shot I spoke with her and offered alms, she gave me the holy picture. Thank you, Giuseppe
