Pierre Dumas 265 Posted February 12, 2009 Great picture! Is that your bile Linda, or is it antique too? Ha! PDE Link to comment
amitai schwartz 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Glorious color and nice, sharp image. Intriguing. I'm generally not a big fan or fancy frames, but this one works very well. Link to comment

soniam 6 Posted February 13, 2009 Wonderful capture Linda. This place looks full of love and yet the windows show their age. I especially like the bicycle wheel in the corner of the frame. Well done Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted February 16, 2009 Very nice - good job on ensuring that the interior was not too dark. 6/6 Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 17, 2009 I love the photograph, but I will have to say that I would not have chosen this frame for the display. You included all the items of interest in the image and cropped it nicely. Good work! I do love the scene and I too would have spent much time capturing various photographs of this setup. I suspect that this is not someone's front yard in your neighborhood, but is a staged garden display possibly at a garden show? We will be having such an even in Seattle in just two days and I am looking forward to attending it for the fourth year in a row. I always come away with some winning photograph from the show. ldavidson 4 Posted February 17, 2009 Janusz, Thank you. I'm glad you like it. Pierre, Thank you. That isn't my bike, but many, many years ago I did have one that was very similar. I guess we are both antiques. Amitai, this is the first time I have used a frame like this. I just felt like trying something different. Thanks for your thoughts. It's good to hear from you. Keith, thank you. Jeff, I loved the quaint feeling here too. I had to seperate it from it's background in order to give it charm. It is stuck out in a feildlike backyard behind the main store. Sonia, thank you so much for your thoughts. Tony, thank you. I did have to lighten it up a bit. Shawn, thanks for your thoughts on the frame. I wasn't sure about it. I like to try something different once in awhile. This is one of those odd little places that I am always stumbling upon while wandering the backroads of British Columbia. It is one of many tiny cabin like shops behind the main antique store. They are located in a field that is out in the middle of nowhere. I'm going to attach the original uncropped version. Thank you all so much for commenting. All the best. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted February 17, 2009 What a wonderful find! I would have spent at least an hour photograph here and then I probably would have purchased the old bicycle or a rusty wheel. Thanks for showing the original shot, I love the editing you have done on the image you have shown us. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 17, 2009 I took about 100 shots here, of this and some of the other eccentric buildings and displays. I am going to post some when I get around to doing a bit of editing. Thanks for your comments and interest. All the best. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 7, 2010 I love this shot Linda, and am so sorry I missed it last spring. It is so quaint and for me...I think it would make a great greeting card, Quaint and Rustic and very appealing. Nice work! Sincerely, Gail Link to comment
hjoseph7 1,517 Posted May 3, 2011 Nicely done. You see this type of image often, but this one has a special flair to it. Link to comment
