anish 0 Posted January 12, 2009 I think this is a nice idea, captured in good light. The only thing I would suggest is to exclude the small rocks in the upper right. To me, the 3 important elements here are the upper rock in cool light, the lower rock in warm light, and the main cluster of rocks jammed in between (nicely placed about 1/3 from the left and top). The rocks at the upper right throw off the simplicity and harmony of the image, which i feel is its strength. Anish Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted January 14, 2009 I think Anish is exactly right. I would also like just a skosh more detail from the darkest reach to the left of the boulder. I wonder if double-processing the raw file and a bit of image blending in PS might not do the job? Nicely seen and captured. Good work! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
