joe-tury 0 Posted December 27, 2008 Good series. This guardian is pulling the water and sky in , which in turn guides the viewers attention to him. These are so broody and mysterious. Thanks for the nice comment. It is very much appreciated. Even though I cannot spend as much time here as I used to (I'm on winter break) I still enjoy viewing everyone's work. I've learned a lot from you and our friends. Thanks for all the support!! Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted December 27, 2008 This series was the culmination of a very trying episode in my life. My wife went to Nigeria with Gabriel, and I have spent three very difficult weeks alone, a fish out of water. Like a drunk man in a dark room, I stumbled out to the Pacific Ocean where the mood of the ocean matched my own melancholy. As I gazed across the expanse of the great Pacific, in the company of the rugged rocks that have withstood its fury for centuries, so much that was bubbling inside me boiled up to the surface, and I sat in quiet contemplation of the wisdom of the ages, the perseverance of the ocean, the resilience of the rocks, the pepetuity of time. Perhaps, therein lay the answer to my questions, but I was in no hurry to ask them. Link to comment
rogro 0 Posted December 27, 2008 Your series of Moods reminds me that each of us is alone, solitude circled by the strength and indifference of the nature. Very well pictured! Kind regards! George Link to comment

matthew-bologna 0 Posted December 27, 2008 Love the dark atmosphere of this capture. It shows the raw power of nature to shape the environment. On wish I could see more detail in the center rock. All the best -matt Link to comment
pierrot 0 Posted December 28, 2008 Having spent a lot of time abalone and free diving off the north coast, I really appreciate the feeling stirred in this photo. The clouds and waves communicate feelings of power, strength, isolation, peace and sometimes fear. I love and appreciate your photo for what it stirs in me. Thank you for sharing.
