bjcarlton 0 Posted December 19, 2008 Three 3/3 ratings and one 7/7 rating so far. Obviously the 7/7 sees the true worth of the photo. Or is it the 3/3? I wish someone would let me know their thoughts . . . I for one enjoyed the experience, so that rather colors my take on the image. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted December 20, 2008 My man the public has been clamoring for another nude from you. The one thing we can count on is that the conventional will not be foisted upon us from Mr. Carlton. I could rhapsodize for many paragraphs of the deep meanings here. You Southern California intellectuals are always hiding the obvious meanings so as to make the thoughts seem more profound. I'm hip to that. For instance, I know that's amniotic fluid and not just dirty San Diego water. And the symbolism of using such fluid is immense. Larger than life one might say (but I didn't). And where could one obtain so much amniotic fluid anyway? There we go with the possibility that this is staged and not "REAL." I'm also on to the many triangles formed by the various body parts (some kind of unmentionable in places like Fresno) are implying the strength of their structural properties to your image. Nice try there. You're not fooling me. Gotta go take my meds now. BTW I found it interesting but not remarkable that you have already garnered 17 rates on this image. While your runners only got 4. Does that tell us anything? Link to comment
Elstad 8 Posted December 22, 2008 Great Freckles... I just love the freckles and the title... does this mean that the tub is up and running and YOU can FINALLY take a bath? Nice shape and form, nice image, nice tub... Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted December 23, 2008 David: the image is, of course, rife with symbolism, but in keeping with my previous anti-baloney manifesto (i.e., in my "gratuitous nude" series), it also has as a major purpose gawking at a naked woman. The mark of a true artist, however, is for the gawking to appear high-class, genteel even. And, yes, isn't it funny that people just don't seem to get excited over (outdoor) sports images? Raymond: The bathroom is now fully functional, which means that since this image was taken, sinks and faucets have been installed. Thus no more brushing my teeth outside. It's been a long year and a half. Kitchen countertops should come any month now (our contractor has been working on them for over six weeks, and keeps running into air pockets (they're concrete)). Once they're in, then no more cooking in the garden shed. With the end of adversity, what will happen to my artistic inspiration? Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted December 23, 2008 Having done some time in Northern California... all I can say is your missing the Peacock feathers...! This IS a very creative angle you have made of this angel ...probably just before you performed the perfect cannonball...hope the camera withstood the wave...I am sure you appreciate not cooking outside here in Montana...enjoy your new tub...and everything in it these Holidayz... peace...juan Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted December 23, 2008 Hmm. Peacock feathers. I'll just have to nip into my stash for the next session. Link to comment
