diego bardone 0 Posted December 15, 2008 Sono le foto che piacciono a me, avrei preferito vedere tutta l'ombra del prete, ma avresti dovuto essere perlomeno alla sua altezza, cosa immagino del tutto infattibile... Ciao!! Link to comment
afshinazizi 0 Posted December 15, 2008 Beautiful wirk and vision.Great use of B&W mood and well seen.Just if you were posed on a higher position you would have better result for the shadow.Best Wishes Link to comment
ifti 1 Posted December 15, 2008 A composition with impact. Light played a drama as the shadow looks like is going in a different direction. Link to comment

bengt1664878721 2 Posted December 16, 2008 I like how your choice of perspective makes the shadow seem strangely disconnected from the person casting it (and how it resembles the silhouette of someone praying). Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted December 18, 2008 for your comments and ratings. Alas, I was at the bottom of those stairs so I couldn't get a better shadow. This picture reminds me of a famous poem by W. B. Yeats: When I play on my fiddle in Dooney,Folk dance like a wave of the sea;My cousin is priest in Kilvarnet,My brother in Moharabuiee. I passed my brother and cousin: They read in their books of prayer;I read in my book of songsI bought at the Sligo fair. When we come at the end of time,To Peter sitting in state, He will smile on the three old spirits,But call me first through the gate; For the good are always the merry,Save by an evil chance,And the merry love the fiddle And the merry love to dance: And when the folk there spy me,They will all come up to me,With ‘Here is the fiddler of Dooney!’And dance like a wave of the sea. mark_q 0 Posted December 18, 2008 This is really delightfull treasure. Perfect frontal framing from ideal height as I really prefer this no-connection between him and his shadow. It must be the bell shaped profile of the priest with his finely rendered costume that appeals me, no boring trousers here, prima. The shape and distance of the shadow is good and I like the pointing effect back to the real person. Prime example of B&W version's power. Congratulations, Giuseppe! Link to comment
