diego bardone 0 Posted December 11, 2008 This is a hell of a shot my dear Giuseppe and who rated it with a 4/4 is, I'm sorry for him/her, a hopeless blind one. It's not a matter of taste, it's just a matter of fairness. The ratings "war" here on PN is sooooooo stupid and life is too short for being caught in such stupid actions... Take care, Diego Link to comment

acarodp 0 Posted December 12, 2008 Giuseppe, another one of you nice, balanced compositions. It is really a pleasant image. To me, it conveys a sense of pleasan, slightly melancholic reverie, as the one that often takes me in these crystal clear, cold autumn days. Perhaps the guy was instead bored, but I don't want reality to come and spoil the enjoyment ;-) On the downside, not your fault but more a technical observation: the bokeh of the 18-200 is really one of the harshest I have seen, and here it shows. But this is no news, nor is it surprising given the enormous focal range... Ciao! L. Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted December 16, 2008 and ratings. I am realy pleased to see you have liked this shot. Emma, this guy was thoughtful and drinking a bit too much for the early hour. Diego, thank you for "the hell of a shot" award :-). Sometimes photographies (like any other work of art) when appreciated inside a "rating" contest provoke uncontrolled emotional reactions. Luca, you are right, the bokeh of this otherwise good lens is sometimes disturbing. I am glad you left your comments and spent some time on my work, thank you, Giuseppe Link to comment
