Well no wonder it caught your eye. That pooch looks like he's wrapped himself up in the American flag. And, I'd swear one of those guys in the portraits is you. Knowing you, maybe they all are in various stage of your varied disguises. Certainly a lot of visual elements to carry one off in reverie here. The reflections work well too.

Two worlds apart, what connect them are the black frames. On the lower, reality is presented, I like a lot the hand on the R and the glove( fits like a "glove to a hand", maybe cliche, but very accurate here). The upper one is elusive reality. I like the duo together, looks to me as a deeper reflection how we see our surrounding sometime., and I see similarities in the way we see reflections....;-))

I actually think that the mottled reflection and glare of the top half doesn't fit grapic sturdiness of the bottom which I think would have been better as a stand-alone picture.

Dave;

I had to hunker down low to the sidewalk in order to avoid showing up in the window. The world only needs so many ( if indeed any at all ) distorted images of my mug. I liked how the stripes on the dog tied in with the stripes on the purse and how the glove connected with the mannequins bare hand.

Pnina;

You have eked out quite a bit more depth and vision from this than I could have, thanks for that. The distortion from the reflection on the top shelf in contrast to the clarity of the bottom shelf was what attracted me originally.

Jack;

Sometimes I develop tunnel vision when working on an image. I became so involved in trying to harmoniously merge the reflections and background in the top section that I completely overlook the strength the bottom section has as a stand alone composition. Thanks for taking the time to focus your savvy street shooters eye on this humble jumble.

I love how the hand of the mannequin ties into the hand in the framed art piece; most would probably try and remove it in photoshop but to me, this is what makes the image. Very well done and very interesting...great choice for B/W. Thanks for sharing. :)
