The Sydney Opera House is my overall favorite architectural work in the world. It is an amazing building and your presentation here is stunning. It is very original, different and interesting picture! Regards.

A good night shot of this famous opera house. It was an interesting design choice. I have the booklet I got at the time I visited the Opera around this time of year some 20 years ago. The original sketch showed a free form dome assortment that had no geometrical basis and would have been almost impossible to construct with existing poured concrete technology. After much discussion it was determined that it could be built using spherical sections. Their placement has been a marvelous display of beauty rivaling the Eiffel Tower in a way..something the eye says defies convention but still standing and still beautiful visitor space, by Sydney harbour. There were no regular performances when we were there, but we got to see the Christmas show and the seating and acoustics were just splendid. Noone needs to explain more when you say THE Opera House...it now belongs to all performing artists world over marvelously.

Thanks for reminding me of that loveliest of harbors also (in my opinion) above San Francisco even....my fondest regards to the creative 'downunders, 'gerry

Fantastic view, nice colors, very good details. A uniquely beautiful building, beautifully presented. The architect just passed away, but his iconic legacy lives on.
