serdelosreyes 0 Posted November 26, 2008 Excelente foto. Muy buenos tonos y encuadre, pero yo probaria a ver que tal resultaria si le eliminaras la maquina que aparece frente al hombre. Esa maquina quizas me resulta un distraccion. saludos. Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted November 26, 2008 for your kind words. Sergio, let me thank you for your comment and the suggestion about cropping away the car on the bottom left because it could be distracting for the viewer. When I saw this man lost in the middle of a large road in Rome, with cars passing by and those huge minimalist buildings on the background I chose to compose the photo as you actually see it. And I waited for some cars to appear in the viewfinder because I wanted to create a sort of middle earth mood. I thought (envisioned) this man lost in between two worlds while crossing the road: the quiet, sharp, classical world in the background and the aggressive urban environment "chasing" him. It's a "not-so-easy-to-read" work, I know, and I'll be happy to know what others think about. Thank you very very much for your time and suggestions, Giuseppe Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted November 26, 2008 Like it a lot. But especially the minimalistic compo and also the way you got the old man pop out from the BG so well. Darn he looks so sharp. Link to comment
diego bardone 0 Posted November 26, 2008 Ciao Giuseppe, as for myself I like it as it is, think the car add the right feeling to the shot... As usual well seen Giuseppe... Buon appetito... Link to comment
wieslawmamon 0 Posted November 27, 2008 Great and brave composition, there are only a few elements here but everything is in the right place and the crop is just perfect. The man really looks at a loss. Thank you Giuseppe, regards, -wm Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 27, 2008 I always suspected that you were not from the "nromal" world and now I have my proof. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted December 2, 2008 great as a portrait but in this composition it really works great. The car works for me and itn fact it's fine as it is. Were one to crop anything only at the top it would work. Anyhow, it's on your usual high standard Giuseppe. I've been away too long here. Link to comment
