sideris 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Very well seen Laurent, and clever timing as well. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 23, 2008 Very nice composition, the saying " less is more", fit to this one well. I like the placement of the paessers by,. it is like 3 "layers", the two and the wall. Yes, the timing is very successful. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted November 23, 2008 This is it! Once again you give a major lesson - and then some - to anybody into street photography. I'm thrilled by the precision again: just see how his bent arm and her back do create the missing pieces of the angled (imaginary) rectangle. Both wearing black, naturally, and the seam on the back enclosery of the bike being color coded. Even the shadow on the ground, bottom left is included... Stunning Masterpiece! Congratulations, Laurent! PS Reminds me very much The Jewish Museum in Berlin... Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 23, 2008 Terrific shot, Laurent. A lot of times we walk the street and nothing pops out and then, there it is. You were ready when the opportunity presented itself and the result is a really striking picture. It would be difficult to position the elements any more perfectly. Link to comment
daily_photograph 0 Posted November 24, 2008 Strong geometry! (Whats that, he saluted to a non motorized vehicle?) Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 24, 2008 Classic Juassi street scene. Wonderful colors and geometry with the V of the cyclists competing with the shapes on the tarp. Very nice indeed. Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted November 27, 2008 ..you all for your comments and feedback.... Carlos...well timing sometimes is there and I was lucky to press the shutter.... Pnina...for this one I waited a while in front of the works poster and got the different passer by....luckily those 2 were collaborative in colors and position...such an image rely mostly on chance that something happen or align.... Markuu....well thanks for your detailed comment....patience and luck is mostly what it takes...I am glad you like it....as you know, like you I enjoy geometry images.... Jack...as you know 2-3 years ago I shooted much less the people in the street and was more focussed on things and geometry...among others you made me want (when I looked at your images) to include people passing...luck and coincidence is something I really like in street photography...the kind of one-time image that forms and disappear in some seconds or fractions... Daily...I guess he just removed the eyeshade of the helmet and luckily I catched him in the middle of this little action....pure chance... David....thanks a lot....of course patience and dedication help....but luck and chance play fully here..... Amal...thanks for your comment and appreciattion....it's motivating to post for people...I shoot for myself, but I post for people...and it's really important to have some people appreciating or commenting (I don't mind critique as well)....
