veezais_gr 0 Posted November 25, 2008 Magic light you have got there! I find this shot even more to my liking than the vertical one where the sun is included in the frame as it seems more mysterious and abstract. I just wonder if the post-processing on the righ-hand side cliffs isn't a bit too strong, creating a halo around the cliffs? Regards, Sandris Link to comment
melloncollie 0 Posted November 25, 2008 thank you for your constructive comment, i appreciate it ! i am also not satisfied with the post-processing, maybe i should give it another try. Link to comment
photopian 0 Posted November 30, 2008 A wonderfull atmospheric image raising questions of the great beyond. Just what does lie tantilisingly out of sight? Just one small observation: could it do without the white object towards the bottom left? A little to attentive and distracting, do you think? regards Ian Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted January 5, 2009 Wow. Majestic and frightening place. Composition, exposition, perfect. Lighting is fantastic. The white thing at the left.? Not bothering me to much. It vas there, maybe, a left over snow from the last winter.? Cheers; Bela Link to comment
melloncollie 0 Posted January 5, 2009 thanks for the visit, i really appreciate your words. in the end it was indeed a frightening place, because hiking up in the very steep mountain was pretty dangerous, especially because of those white spots (it is a fresh, melting snow). i can still feel that unsafe feeling when i look at these pictures.
