bosshogg 4 Posted October 29, 2008 Once they have smelled the eau de road, they will never work steadily again. Their only thoughts are of wanderlust. Yeah... Link to comment
alight 0 Posted October 29, 2008 dude, you must be some Big Boss when even traffic cones bow their tops when you approach. I like the simplicity, wackiness, and crazy-colorness of this photo. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 30, 2008 Jack is going to sue you for trademark infringement. Or perhaps your orange cone is paying obeisance.... It's good to see some new stuff from you. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted October 30, 2008 Perhaps traffic cones are the only ones who so respect me. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted October 30, 2008 It's a homage to Jack. I would have stated that in a comment, but I had another cone pic a month or so ago that I dedicated to Mr. McRitchie, and I don't think he ever saw it. So I didn't feel it necessary to pay homage to him on this one. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted October 30, 2008 Looks like a bloodhound hot on the trail, or a party hat after the party, or..... this one can really kick start the imagination. Thanks for the morning smile Dave. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted October 30, 2008 David, I think you have a cone fetish...this one is hilarious! But, cones seem to show up as stars or bit players in your images. I'm not sure what Sigmund would have to say about that...probably something we can't openly discuss:-) Thanks for making me smile this morning, Dick Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted October 30, 2008 I like the light and strong color here....both suits the image very well...the harsh life of a cone... Link to comment

godfather 0 Posted October 30, 2008 LOL. Can they come any better than this. Simple and striking. Your story for it, made it work on another level. Link to comment
dandem 1 Posted October 30, 2008 Hey, Dave. The picture is great probably because of its simplicity. I must admit, and please forgive me for saying this, the previous comments have got me smiling. Well seen and captured. Regards, Lawrence. Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted October 31, 2008 Much obliged. Although if I think that cone is more into personal gratification by way of getting a good sniff of that asphalt. I've even heard they get high doing that. But when he comes down off of that high, I'm thinking he won't stand so tall. :) Link to comment
