Thanks. Jack is more like a full house, and I'm kind of like a pair of fours. I used to take a lot of pride in my titles, but Jack makes mine so pedestrian. Oh well.

Thanks for looking, and for the note. It is truly appreciated in these times.

David, this makes me smile! you, Jack, Jeff and Pnina are all master titleists (is that a word?).

Yeah, that's a word. It's a golf ball. I ain't got much hair, I'm kind of round (aka "fat') and I get hit around a lot. So, yeah, I think it might apply to me. :)))

Of course, I love the color. You always do a great job capturing the world in a state of devolving. I like how fast food is tumbling back into the cornfield. Having just hints of icons is a nice touch. The CBS eye peering back at you is a nice touch. That's where my eye keeps going.

Thank you very much. I was not totally happy with the color here because I had to work on it with my little laptop which just does not reproduce color and brightness appropriately. Then when I transfer it to my sister's computer I have to often take it back and adjust. The process gets old quickly. Wish I had a nice jazzy new laptop. Someday .......

PR everywhere... hints of a consuming society... ;-)) you have the original source( fields) and the

" Mc.../ welcome" very colorful ( a way of tempting....).... and CBS... all fits together for your observant eye. I love the title....

Linda, thanks as well ! I think that titles are part of creation....

although I've never perceived you as a cynic it's obvious you're highly critical of society. In that sense your title is well chosen. We all deserve a break. The way things are going it might be forced upon us soon anyway. Given that sign set off against those deeply saturated colours you've created a photo which would appeal to any cynic, no small feat.

I do definitely consider myself a cynic. I try to be one with a sense of humor. Thanks for all your comments. You give me a lot to think about.

well there you go then. You've proven my point, cynics have no sense of humour. As Oscar Wilde once said:

"What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing"

Very effective commentary on American society. Overdone consumerism sneaks into all aspect of life, even into a farm setting. And BTW, I love the color gradations in te FG.
