Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 15, 2008 And you talk about MY production. Sometimes I think you're a homeless man with a good camera and LIVE on the street :-)) Such a steady stream of high quality pictures puts my efforts deep in the shadows, This little street amusement is particularly good with the directed attention of the audience towards the mime. I also get a kick out of the guy on the right, oblivious to the drama around the corner, just reading his newspaper..He reminds me of one end of a pair of bookends. (the other one seems to be ignoring his duty and peeking at the performer). Link to comment
evan.lavine 0 Posted September 17, 2008 and inspiring...this is a photo for me to study and learn from...slow shutter speed yet crisp details... you truly are amazing my friend, evan Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted September 18, 2008 and generous ratings. This is the first photo of a series centered on the use of slow shutter and pov perpendicular to the (moving) subjects.I have always considered myself some sort of "wanderer", both from tho intellectual/cultural pov that from the photographic one. The words of Mr. Jack McRitchie (a photographer whose works I appreciate and study) have ironically hit the bull's-eye: to photograph street-life one must almost mingle with people, asphalt, walls and noises. Sometimes a good work is born from this long walks. Thank you again, Giuseppe Link to comment
