lizweisiger 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Does this work better? Please leave me your comment. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Liz, I had no issue with the brightness of the original, I just didn't like the seed heads. The BG is better on this but the FG needs some more light. Link to comment
color 3 Posted September 11, 2008 I like the orange-y red and yellow of this, but overall I liked the first version better..... I've had problems getting my P'net postings to look like what I saw in Photoshop. Sometimes they look awful by comparison and I delete them ASAP. I don't know why, but it hasn't been a problem for me lately. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Me too, I was getting large differences between what I saw in PS and what PN showed. All of my JPGs have imbedded profiles and are converted to sRGB anyway but it seems to be OK now. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Many thanks for taking the time to view these images and compare. To be honest, I've decided I like this one the best; it's more original and kind of mysterious - by virtue of those pods looming in. Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted September 11, 2008 for the reason you wrote (although I find that the upper part distracts the eye, thank you, Giuseppe Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Thank you all for taking the time to comment. I am aware that the seed pods are not popular, but as I've said, I like them in the image for their "strangeness" factor. (I think I might be leaning that way, personally as well)?. Anyway, I love seeing what people write. Link to comment
Lacerda 1 Posted September 11, 2008 No.. certainly not, (for me..) you had a very well balanced scneario with the light, colors sharpness, and now you just have strong color on the main flower but the rest is gone, All the best. Link to comment

godfather 0 Posted September 13, 2008 I preffer this more, mostly because the hard contrast between Bg and the flower. With this way the texture on the leafs pops out more. Link to comment
