Excellent shot, what happened to the other half? Where do you find the Ospreys? BTW, I saw you're using a D3 and 200-400 how do you like it? I am thinking about getting a D700 with the same lens...

Hmmm, I think he ate the other half. We have ospreys in several locations in so cal, Newport backbay and huntington beach, just to name a couple. Its a great camera/lens combo if you don't mind losing the crop factor. Hurts you in shooting birds, but the iso sensitivity makes up for it.
