given the lighting conditions you describe it looks a bit hard. Nevertheless it's a very good photo. The sense of solitude that the woman conveys (she's positioned perfectly) is terrific.

With a few components only you've managed to tell an interesting story. I agree with Ton, the presence of the woman makes all the difference here, the loneliness dominates the overall atmosphere here and her tilted head suggests indeed it is not an easy time in her life now.
