Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 27, 2008 Terrific shot, just terrific. There's something almost surreal about this picture as if each item had been positioned there simply by the will of the photographer. I rarely make croppiong suggentions but I think I would have cropped it about 1 cm. above the line of horizontal brickwork on the wall to concentrate and narrow the field and emphasize the visual tracking of the composition left to right. Your work is very cinematic and this is definitely a wide-screen movie. Link to comment

jbidarra 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Great BW image very well composed. Perhaps the light is a little too strong, but in a sreet photo you can not chose the hour to make a great shot. Regards. Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted July 28, 2008 this shot was taken in my hometown harbour. I partially agree with your suggestions about cropping: it's ok to crop the top, but cropping the right would delete part of the tag, that I consider imho an essential part of the composition (for its symbolic value, see "self portrait at the bus stop" in "Walkin' Talkin' Blues" folder and others). Thank you again, Giuseppe Link to comment
