bosshogg 4 Posted July 26, 2008 While I am not prone to hanging out in such places, I do appreciate beauty and there is a lot of beauty here. Both architectural and musical. I've been reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins lately, and my views haven't been influenced so much as reinforced by his reasoning. Because of that, there is a certain element of distaste in viewing this, but it is more conceptual than aesthetic. Hope I did not offend. That was not my intent. Keep up the good work. rarmstrong 0 Posted July 28, 2008 Thank you, David. Your comments are understandable and no offence is taken. I am not familiar with the book but it sounds interesting. I took this just before the rehearsal for my son's wedding. The church is in downtown Minneapolis next to the soon to be more famous convention center. The architecture is impressive. And it makes me wonder...have you read Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth"? A very entertaining tome of a novel centered around the lives of masons building a cathedral in medieval England. A digression...thanks for the comments and enjoy the remainder of the Summer! Dick Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted July 29, 2008 I have mostly been reading non fiction lately, but I'll try to get your suggestion on the waiting list. Thank you. And, congratulations to your son and new daughter in law. Link to comment
