It is a good, and dramatic image. Nice catch. To improve, you has to highlight the white sail on the sailboat, and the boat as well. It is almost last in the darkness. What is the thing father in the lake, a light house, a signal tower or a buoy? Or, it is an other boat? And what is the thing floating in the wind as big as a sail, from a top of it. Somehow, I don't see as an important element for the image, without it the image would-be much better and balanced. And I can't see the shelter from the storm as a title stated.

Thanks Giovanni and Bela, The thing blowing in the wind is the spinnaker that tore loose. I don't like to fool around much with my photos but I think you are correct in the things you said to do to improve the image.
