The unusual perspective is effective. That and the differing textures are what hold my interest with this image. Well done B/W conversion.

Having viewed the very green, very wet after-the-rain shot first, I didn't think I'd like a B&W shot so much...but I do. Excellent work.

Tim, thanks again and I'm glad you like this! I was wondering what Ton Mestrom would think. I really haven't done much black and white. But, for some images it just feels like a good fit.

Well, I can sure tell you what Ton Mestrom thinks. You did very good making this a b&w. I think you can make this even better with some selective increasing of the contrast but to be honest it looks already very good. So you as well are entering the black zone. The more the merrier.

Hey, Ton...Hello and thanks for the comments! It's kind of wierd how you begin to associate certain techniques and kinds of images with people here on PN. When it comes to black and white, I think of you and Max. It's good to hear from you!
