je ne regrette rien 67 Posted June 2, 2008 Funny indeed! I would have changed the position of the street sign pole. Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted June 3, 2008 A fine and witty shot in the classic neo-realist style. I like this very much. It is one of the best shot I've seen on PN in a while. Warm regards... Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted June 3, 2008 Giuseppe, thank you for the nice portrait. You can mail me the photo via the Photo.net e-mail address, grazie e ciao Luca: I wanted that pole there, where it is, and for this reason I shot this one from the middle of the road (w/ cars passing by); Joseph, your good eye saw/spotted the neo-realistic mood: "What has always interested me is the analysis of a decaying society" - Luchino Visconti Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted June 3, 2008 I agree that the pole *has* to be there. I would have placed it only a few centimetres further left (of the viewer) to divide the head approximately in two and still show a bit of the front part of the arm and the breast. Ah, the pole is pefectly vertical, but the building is tilted to the left. Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted June 3, 2008 I agree with you, although in a hurry, I could have been a bit more accurate while framing this photo. Thank you for your comments, Giuseppe Link to comment
