sunshinepixels 0 Posted April 13, 2008 I love the b&w. How would it look cropped closer? There is a lot going on here. Link to comment
loic brohard 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Hi Jennifer, many thanks for your comment. Agree the photo is very busy, a bit too busy maybe for some taste. But how would you recommend to crop ? I think the two persons who are talking are the main subjects, but I also want to keep all the musical instruments which are also part of the story ? Any other views welcome. B. regards, Loic Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Your whole ' Paris B/W' series is 'magnifique',Loic. Compliments and regards,El. Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Very good street photo in BW. I like this one with the two musicians talking, the instruments "resting" in the street and the rest of the "world" going on. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted April 13, 2008 it's very good and interesting work. You took this in hard light and you've got some blownout bits. Should be easy to correct Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted April 14, 2008 in the streets photographies, for me, is not important at all if the frame is busy.... i say that is good to have to walk with eyes all over the pic, looking for details. The important thing is that every element have to contribute to the meaning of the photo. and here there is absolutely nothing useless. all the elements write a word of this story. bravissimo, and also the bw is good, a little bit "dirty", as the situation. alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted April 15, 2008 Great B&W documentary of music in the street. I grew up in NYC and am quite familiar with the best that street music has to offer. What's amazing here are the number of instruments and their seeming quality (shining, good wood, nice cases, etc.) This might by a symphony orchestra! Well seen and captured. Cheers ~ Link to comment
hik 0 Posted April 17, 2008 I love this composition as I used to watch a lot of street musicians play JAZZ. A Lovely street photo! Link to comment
