timkeller 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Before I saw your title, I was thinking, "Spring finally comes to Dick's monochromatic (and dreary) north!" So the word 'spring' was on my mind before I saw your title and thought, oh yeah, that kind of spring, too. Lush, warm color tones. Great rust. A great photographer said, "If it's not working, you're not close enough." You're getting close! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 13, 2008 Well I just commented on Tim being the rust king as you so aptly labeled him, and then I come over here and find you horning in on the rust racket. No matter, I guess there's plenty to go around. Very nice work here, and I'm glad to see you moving in for detail. You can just about feel the rust. And for a reason that is largely inexplicable, I really like that little black brake line snaking its way from the lower corner off to who knows where. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted April 13, 2008 I liked the brake line, too. I didn't really appreciate how it worked to add some interest until I put this up on my computer and started playing with how to present it. So often, small peripheral parts of an image will stand out for unexplained reasons...makes it more fun! Thanks for the nice comment. Dick Link to comment
