alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted April 11, 2008 Shadow of a Sago Palm on my concrete patio - not manipulated. C&C welcome. Thanks for looking. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted April 11, 2008 Quite interesting abstract, dear Alberta. The forms, grain and contrast are great. Excellent composition. Best regards! Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted April 11, 2008 I think of buildings encroaching on nature, but not the opposite. You surprised me. Looks like a centipede--a bit jarring. I love the interaction. You made me see in a different way. Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted April 13, 2008 Thank you for your kind words. Today it's raining. But the sun is peeking out and this same reflection is out there but with puddles. If I could just get my husband to hold the umbrella . . . Cheers ~ Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted April 17, 2008 Cool! Great shadow detail. Did you try this in B&W? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new bio pic! :-) Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted April 18, 2008 Thanks. Yes, I tried the B&W but wanted to keep this one "out of the box." I like the bits of color in the concrete and find they make a much more discernible pattern in color than they did in B&W. I almost always try everything in B&W. I'm a drama queen :) Cheers ~ Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted April 18, 2008 Smart a#$ ;) Thanks about the bio pic. It was only the 10th one I MADE my husband shoot at the Blues Festival. The people around us were hysterical with all of the "do's and don'ts" I was shouting at him. Good thing lots of beer was being consumed. Cheers ~ Link to comment
