jkilgo 0 Posted March 16, 2008 Nice portrait...I like the horizontal composition here..it seems to work well with this pose. Nice job with the lighting on the model's face...just enough to provide detail, but not overwhelm the mood of the portrait...I really like that you captured the sparkle in her eyes. Nicely done. thadley 15 Posted March 16, 2008 Well seen and captured. I like the side light and the dark clothing which leads your eye to the facial features. To me the essence is in the eyes but I would have liked to have seen a little more of her lips and that would require her hand to be slightly repositioned. Just my humble opinion. Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted March 16, 2008 Katia is a lucky girl for her to be lovingly documented as well as in this image. I would arguably consider this one of the finest in your 'Katia' folder! Regards ~ Mike Link to comment

jstream 0 Posted March 16, 2008 I agree that I would like to see more of the lips here... But a beautiful portrait as it is. Well done. Link to comment
Jerry Beecham 0 Posted March 17, 2008 I like this type of portrait. It is unconventional and that makes it more interesting. The eyes are telling us something. As for her hand covering her lips, perhaps she is smiling, maybe not - that adds a little mystery. Well done. Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted March 17, 2008 Excellent portrait. I love the hand hiding the lips and especially the beauty mark over the right side of the lip - very sexy. Well done! Link to comment

tbonemah 0 Posted November 23, 2008 One of the most sensitive and vivacious portraits I have ever seen. I can just about hear the classic imperative " please get your hand away from your face...and take that hoodie off!" LOL! A gorgeous capture - one of my favorites on this site. Link to comment
