This is also from Oklahoma City, although not the Memorial. It is a sculpture that is in front of the Bank of America building. I thought it was cool looking, but the skies were overcast, so the color version was washed out. The sculpture is red. I wish the sky had been blue so that the mirrored building behind it were that gorgeous robin's egg color..........

I like it as B&W, it has real structure. Good composition too. Maybe a tiny bit more contrast needed for my old eyes. Best regards Hugh

What a great sculpture! And it looks like you have just the right POV and crop. While I like the B&W just fine, I'd love to see you colorize the color version. You have CS3, right? Have you tried? In any event, this is just great. Thanks for sharing -

Two of you said "more contrast" ... I'll probably have to try it with more contrast. I'll do so in the next couple of days and re-post.

Yes, Alberta, I am using cs3 ... when you say "colorize", do you mean take the B&W and paint colors back in? Hmmm.... I'll see if I have time to play with it like that......

Lou Ann, on my calibrated monitor it has all the contrast needed, the angle is great, I like the flow of the sculpture vs, the bright BG.Impressive!
