aepelbacher 0 Posted March 5, 2008 This is also from Oklahoma City, although not the Memorial. It is a sculpture that is in front of the Bank of America building. I thought it was cool looking, but the skies were overcast, so the color version was washed out. The sculpture is red. I wish the sky had been blue so that the mirrored building behind it were that gorgeous robin's egg color.......... Link to comment
lostinspace 0 Posted March 5, 2008 I like it as B&W, it has real structure. Good composition too. Maybe a tiny bit more contrast needed for my old eyes. Best regards Hugh Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted March 6, 2008 Excellent composition and beautiful b&w tone, Lou Ann! Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted March 7, 2008 What a great sculpture! And it looks like you have just the right POV and crop. While I like the B&W just fine, I'd love to see you colorize the color version. You have CS3, right? Have you tried? In any event, this is just great. Thanks for sharing - Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Nice composition. Maybe a bit more contrast, though? Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Two of you said "more contrast" ... I'll probably have to try it with more contrast. I'll do so in the next couple of days and re-post. Yes, Alberta, I am using cs3 ... when you say "colorize", do you mean take the B&W and paint colors back in? Hmmm.... I'll see if I have time to play with it like that...... Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 7, 2008 Lou Ann, on my calibrated monitor it has all the contrast needed, the angle is great, I like the flow of the sculpture vs, the bright BG.Impressive! Link to comment
