Part of a series of images taken at the Oklahoma City Memorial this past September. It's a place that every American really ought to make a point to visit. Please be brutally honest with me about these images. For example, on this one ... I decided not to play with the perspective, to give you a sense of how big this place is ... does the *lean* bother you? Anything else?

LouAnn, this is my favorite of the series BECAUSE of the "lean"...I love the perspective you chose and that things seem off kilter here...to me it helps to represent how "off" we all felt when this happened...nothing was ever quite right again. It really shook everyone's sense of safety/security. Just my 2 cents. :)

Thanks, everyone. There are plenty more where this came from ... it will be an extensive series. I simply couldn't stop shooting the place ... there is a certain sense of respect and sombre-ness there .... you really MUST visit!

Now this might be really interesting at night or early morning... My favorite time other than stormy weather, is early morning. And yes, this kinda does give me the feeling that day when this unAmerican act happen to my home town...
