NOWHERE PARTICULARLY

It seems, quite particularly, nowhere.

That was the idea, and the raters seemed not to want to go there. Ha ha.

The ratings on this make me laugh. This ain't nowhere. This is somebody's somewhere. And a good somewhere to boot. I can imagine a group of kids pouring into this alleyway (?), playing kickball, and making it the best spot on earth. This is a good example of: life is what you make it. And a damn fine, balanced, colorful shot to boot.

This is somewhere because it is such a nowhere. I see several great followup shots in this alley. Can you find them? It's like a game!

Doug is right, you should do some follow ups here. Having said that I think you overdid on the colours.

This was fenced off. I climbed into the bed of my pickup to shoot over the chain link fence.

As I told Doug, this was fenced off. At one time I think you might have been right. Interestingly enough the building on the left is an old (really old) pool hall that is completely gutted. I don't know if they are tearing it down or renovating it.

You are probably right about the colors. I was kind of shooting for that fifties postcard look because the fifties is when this area would have been in its heydays.
