aepelbacher 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Okay - on this one, I'm a bit miffed that the peaks are a bit hazy and the snow at the top of the mountain in the center looks a little bit blown out (yes, pre-RAW days). Otherwise, I'm real pleased with this one. What are your thoughts? Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 24, 2008 ...and you've a bloody rock in it (Hoo-ray!)! Excellent composition, but I'd crop the tops of the two rocks on the bottom, or include them in their entirety. Nice work, Lou Ann. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted January 24, 2008 Sigh... looks absolutely great to me! I have got to get back out West, it's been (a-hem) too many years since my last trip. Thanks... Mike Link to comment

alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted January 25, 2008 Stop critiquing your own work, Lou Ann. That's what you have us for :) The blown out, hazy - horse feathers! No problem there. The tiny part of the rocks on the bottom, ditto Chris's comment - crop (or clone out). This image has a very 3D feel to it. It's a wonderful shot, expertly executed. Thanks for sharing. Cheers ! aepelbacher 0 Posted January 25, 2008 LOL, Alberta - okay, I'll stop. I just like to point out what I see good & bad in my own work. Just so that no one thinks that I'm too high on myself or something. :-) Link to comment
cycler48 8 Posted January 25, 2008 I agree with Alberta. Stop critiquing your own work. No need to make yourself feel bad about any flaws in your work when we're more than capable of doing it for you. Anyway, I really don't see the fuzziness that you've mentioned nor any problem with blown out snow. This is a very beautiful scene and I can envision my tent set up in the meadow at left. henrimanguy 0 Posted February 9, 2008 Very nice composition, beautiful saturated colours. Perhaps, if you had just not cut the first bush, but this is a minor detail. Link to comment
