pax2002 0 Posted January 6, 2008 Beautiful picture, Giuseppe. Dreary day livened by the colors in the umbrella. I particularly like the texture of the wet cobblestones and the shadow cast by the walker. The composition brings to mind a painting by the Impressionist Caillebotte. Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted January 6, 2008 I was thinking about Gustave Caillebotte (La Place de l'Europe, temps de pluie) in the same instant I saw the woman, the umbrella and the cobblestones. Thank you for your comment. G. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted January 23, 2008 The cobblestones lead nicely into the solitary walker. Nice shot. Link to comment
Very, very nice the bridge is not as steep as this photo shows. Thank you very much for your comment on the photo of my mother's parents. He was an important judge. I took the picture in the early eighties. At that time there were no digital cameras and I only photographed in black and white. I was a rookie and made a lot of framing mistakes. This one has not many, apart from the highlights of the background window and a quite damaged negative Link to comment
Bravo. Link to comment
