Orkney sea stack. It's difficult to get the scale of this rock on a

small image. If you look carefully you can just see the odd sea bird

on the ledges.

This is gorgeous, although i find the top of the sky a little distracting. I think it could be cropped a bit. love the colours and the composition.

Very nice--piece of Orkney we missed. Have to go back...:)

Great color and amazing sky. It seems--to me--to balance better with a bit less of the foreground, but that's my taste.

The long exposure works great for the sky and the water. I find the foreground a bit distracting, you could crop some of it.

This is a fabulous photograph! Really terrific composition and exposure. Really conveys a sense of depth; as I almost feel like I could just pitch right over the edge and down. Superb depth-of-field and exquisite details. While I understand how some may like to crop some of the sky or the foreground, I personally think you've got it just right. Well done, this is very beautiful! Cheers! Chris

Fantastic shot, I like the way the dramatic sky contrasts with the smoothness of the sea. A great sense of distance. Well done.

I love the wide angle here. The most attractive element for me is the water and the monolith. I probably would avoid much of this foreground, which is very dominating the most beautiful element. IT is beautiful capture and this is just my perspective.

Oh, and clouds movement is amazing. Also appreciate your gracious comment on my Sand-Melody.

Sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under! Great shot Simon, you have some very cool work indeed. I would certain lessen the size of your images to 650px on the longest side as there are theivin little gits all over the place who would have enough of an image to start making a wonderful set of postcards from your posts. Great use of PS and a good perspective of this superb sea stack.
