velter 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Very nice again. I like the circles and arches, and the way they flow into each other. Also the light and the many gray tones. Very clever. Just one thing that I find a little disturbing and that prevented me from giving it a 7: the sky. It needs some clouds and detail . (PS2 could fix that easily, and whilst you are at it: put some detail in the plate in the front too.Am I pushing it now?) Link to comment

randall ellis 2 Posted June 11, 2008 The repetitive pattern of circles here is very compelling - the longer I look at it the more I like it. The contrast created by the square frame really sets of the circular theme - nicely done. I do agree about the sky though, it's probably the only element that detracts from this image but there is some balance provided by the burned out plate at the bottom, so it is not as distracting. Very nice work you have here, really. - Randy Link to comment

johncrosley 0 Posted June 23, 2009 It's one of your very best. I just had passed over it, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I tried hitting the 'button' 'view photos of those who like this photo' (or similar words) next to a photo of mine, and among those by Frederic Pascual, who is a genius at 'street' up came this photo as one of the very first -- an absolutely stunning piece of repetition and symmetry. I won't go through how it uses repetition or mirroring, as the circle and curve repetition will be obvious to viewers and same with the repetition - it's just one masterful photo and should be among those you display as YOUR BEST, YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST. And it does belong on exhibition. It's a 7/7 in my book. john John (Crosley) Link to comment
