Well? -- regardless of how it happened the result sure looks like a double exposure to me, and an interesting one at that.

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. As I'm typing this I just noticed that there's a figurine of dancers in the real dancer's head. Very strange indeed. Cheers -

I'm not certain about the exif data, do your file numbers skip a number in sequence after this frame? I shoot with a Canon 20D and it is not capable of doing multiple exposures :(

 

Until you mentioned it, I had not noticed the figurine of the 2 dancers WOW! how very fortuitous!! You certainly have wonderful accidents.

Gordon - I do such a miserable job of RAW file management that I can't tell if I deleted one or there was a camera mishap. If I'm really motivated to find out, I'll restore the files from the memory card. But I kind of doubt that I'll have the time. Some things should just remain mysterious I think. Cheers -
