shots worth sharing 1 Posted December 5, 2007 Thanks, Doug! This is another from my foray to the salvage depot but, actually, I wouldn't have to leave the house to find one equally as "interesting"--my basement is something of a salvage depot in its own right. :>) Link to comment
chrisvest 1 Posted December 5, 2007 in our increasingly drab, concrete, and painted-over world, this is what the skilled and creative eye searches out: hidden glimpses of artistic genious! here you've found it splendidly and brought it back to us alive and hugely entertaining. thank you and bravo! shots worth sharing 1 Posted December 5, 2007 What a great comment to find over my morning coffee! I think I'll just call today a great success and go back to bed. One of the sad aspects of the work I've done on my house (in addition to my ineptitude and laziness) has been the loss of this sort of lovely detail. It felt great to take this opportunity to celebrate the beauty of woodwork in need of paint. Link to comment

shots worth sharing 1 Posted August 1, 2008 Thanks for visiting, Paul! Yeah, I 'm pretty pleased with this (but I've learned a lot about pp since I posted it--I may go back and re-work it some rainy day. I find it interesting that --although I've made a career of being a 'big picture' type, my photographic work has a myopic bent--dominated by closed-focused snippets like this. Link to comment
htarragon 8 Posted January 7, 2011 Dave - Beautiful shot. Looks like some of my best macro plant shots. The opalescent colors really make it. Great eye. Link to comment
