younes 0 Posted November 17, 2007 Nicely done. I like the square format. The 2 rainbows (yes there are 2 ;D) contrast nicely with the dark skies...why don't i get this when I am out shooting... Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted November 17, 2007 I see the beauty of the scene and the chance that is necessary to experience such natural phenomena in reality. I would however prefer the scene with bow(s). The background landscape is very beautiful and the light on the two trees fantastic. Well done. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted November 17, 2007 Truly Heavenly! One of the better rainbow shots I've ever seen! The mountain in the background stands as an awesome backdrop! Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted November 18, 2007 Lennart, This is really a double rainbow. I can see just a hint of a second one in the sky. I have seen this rare sight once or twice, I would be thrilled if I had captured one. They are wondrous, you have done a marvelous job with this. Link to comment
yttergaarden. 0 Posted November 18, 2007 Thank you so much for your kind remarks - and i am happy you liked it. Yes it is rare that you see two rainbows at the same time, so i had to drop what i had in my hands, run in to get my camera and i got it before it was to late. There was not many seconds i saw both rainbows. Thanks again for taking the time to visit. Regards Lennart K.V. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted November 18, 2007 Very beautiful. The rainbow is very vivid, that is not so often. You have reacted quickly and in the best way. Link to comment

httpwww.photos.netphot 0 Posted November 19, 2007 That's the money shot right there. Here in Western Washington, rainbows are quite common, and there are usually 2 of them. I see them frequently from the back deck of my house (along with Mt. Rainier). Unfortunately, there are houses in the way which hinders me from getting a good landscape shot such as this. Hopefully I'll be in the right spot at the right time one of these days! Link to comment
mstefanova 0 Posted November 20, 2007 Beautiful! I love the fact that there aren't many colours (except the rainbow of course) Link to comment
