Nicely done. I like the square format. The 2 rainbows (yes there are 2 ;D) contrast nicely with the dark skies...why don't i get this when I am out shooting...

I see the beauty of the scene and the chance that is necessary to experience such natural phenomena in reality. I would however prefer the scene with bow(s). The background landscape is very beautiful and the light on the two trees fantastic. Well done.

Truly Heavenly! One of the better rainbow shots I've ever seen! The mountain in the background stands as an awesome backdrop!

Lennart,

This is really a double rainbow. I can see just a hint of a second one in the sky. I have seen this rare sight once or twice, I would be thrilled if I had captured one. They are wondrous, you have done a marvelous job with this.

Thank you so much for your kind remarks - and i am happy you liked it. Yes it is rare that you see two rainbows at the same time, so i had to drop what i had in my hands, run in to get my camera and i got it before it was to late. There was not many seconds i saw both rainbows. Thanks again for taking the time to visit. Regards Lennart K.V.

This is so beautiful; and I agree with Younes, there are two rainbows! Beautiful composition, and perfect exposure. I too, love the square format. Wonderful work of art, Lennart! A 7/6 anonymously. Cheers! Chris

That's the money shot right there.

Here in Western Washington, rainbows are quite common, and there are usually 2

of them. I see them frequently from the back deck of my house (along with Mt. Rainier). Unfortunately, there are houses in the way which hinders me from getting a good landscape shot such as this. Hopefully I'll be in the right spot at the right time one of these days!
