aepelbacher 0 Posted November 16, 2007 Another of the shots from the cemetery. I just loved this old tree and the beautifully colored leaves on the ground. Do the power lines bother you? Any other thoughts on this image? Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 16, 2007 Nice shots all, Lou Ann. You seem to have focused on the tree. For at least one shot, I might have zoomed in on a headstone to focus on the text with the tree as blurred background. Great compsition, colors, and focus here. You don't have much DOF (perhaps you didn't want any) and I'd guess this is mid-day and the lighting might have been more exciting earlier or later in the day. Still and all, a photo of which to be proud :) Cheers - Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted November 16, 2007 Thanks, Alberta. I have a couple more shots from this same cemetery/day that I'll be posting. One was much more focused on a couple of stones & their text. Yeah, I guess the subject here is the tree ... the more I look at it, you're right - it's not real apparent. :-) And the DOF ought to be deeper because I shot it at f11 ... I ought to go back while the leaves are still pretty and try a tripod and a smaller aperture. I just feel funny walking through a cemetery with a tripod, ya' know? :-) It was mid-morning ... up here, when the weather starts getting colder, the atmosphere is crystal clear and when there are no clouds it can feel like mid-day at 8:00 a.m. Link to comment
