aginbyte 0 Posted November 10, 2007 ... and the title works like a charm. It looks monochromatic except we can still see bits of color in the tres above. Very nicely done. Link to comment
cynthiabowers 0 Posted November 10, 2007 Wonderful detail in low light...very moody image. Really like the shadows and the tree branches. Great job! Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 10, 2007 Thanks for your comments. Low lighting is one of my favorite photo types. Good thing I have a great mentor (my husband) to help me through the myriad of settings choices. And a tripod. Can't do these without the tripod. Cheers - Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 10, 2007 It was as enchanted walking around this park as it looks in the photo. Thanks for your comment. Cheers - Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Great moment catch. Perfect title, hopefully you have seen the movie :) This looks like continuity to your documentary serie. Best regards Tero. Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 11, 2007 Seen the movie? I can recite the dialogue I've seen it so many times :) When I first looked through the viewfinder it was a nice shot but that man in the moon head wasn't in that spot. When I looked at the shot I had snapped I was completely surprised. Lucky me :) Yes, there are more street photos coming, at least a few. It's both fun and rewarding doing these. The lighting is such a challenge! Cheers - Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted November 14, 2007 This is wonderful! I've been staring at it for a while, impressed by the fine detail in such low light -- and intrigued by the "atmosphere." Regards... Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted November 14, 2007 Thank you for your comment. It's truly appreciated as I'm a relative newbie to low-light, street photography. As for the mood in this park, I give major props to the city of St. Petersburg for doing such a wonderful job with lighting. Cheers - Link to comment
